SINA views organizational development as a key to realizing its mission. SINA is able to achieve its mission by incorporating a robust staff and board development component in concert with its effort to assist the greater community in achieving its full potential.
Part of the organization’s strategic plan calls for the SINA staff to participate in a range of training activities aimed at increasing efficiency and strengthening their skill sets. SINA is also active in promoting opportunities for community organizations and neighborhood leaders in raising their level of effectiveness. An example of this is SINA’s participation in the Latino Endowment Fund, which is a unique effort to improve life now and in the future for Latino residents of Greater Hartford and the community at large.
