About the Show:
Robbie McCauley’s autobiographical solo show about living with diabetes. SUGAR, directed by Maureen Shea, professor of Performing Arts at Emerson College, with music by Chauncey Moore and projections by Mirta Tocci, cracks open the silence about the diabetes epidemic in the U.S. that affects approximately 20 percent of adult African-Americans and is the fourth leading cause of death among African-Americans
