Mayor Pedro E. Segarra invites students living in Hartford and their families to the Mayor’s Youth Employment and Empowerment Day, where young job seekers can find one-on-one assistance in resume building, opening a bank account, how to obtain a social security card, job interview tips and opportunities to pre-apply for summer jobs. Participants can also get training on online career searches and applying for jobs online. Representatives from the City of Hartford Vital Records will be available to assist youth in acquiring birth certificates.
